About this project
This project was special. We worked with Duolingo’s DET team to plan out a multi-country shoot to film 15+ different subjects who have all experienced having to take an English Proficiency Test in order to attend an English speaking college. Our core team was 5 people and then we picked up a few roles in each country we visited.
Audi Version
Owl city had a song featured in the movie, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, a 2010 3D computer-animated fantasy adventure film directed by Zack Snyder. We were fortunate enough to be asked by the record label to create a music video for the song. We had the idea of making Adam, the singer, a film projectionist and built a set around that idea.
